Successful completion of this course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to confidently assess emergency situations and provide effective First Aid response to emergencies in the community or workplace.

On Completion: Students get a Statement of Attainment HLTAID011 provide First Aid valid for 3 years Course

Duration: 7 hours face to face training

Assessment: written and practical assessments completed during training


The course covers First Aid response procedures for a wide range of medical illness, allergic reactions, minor injuries, trauma and lifesaving treatments.
The main topics covered in the course are:
  • Ability to respond to an emergency situation
  • Apply appropriate first aid procedures
  • Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines
  • Communicate details of the incident
  • Duty of care, completing Incident Reports
  • Evaluate the incident and own performance
  • Drowning

  • Anaphylaxis Awareness – EpiPen Training Asthma Awareness
