CERTIFICATE IV IN DISABILITY

This Certificate IV in Disability (CHC43115) was designed for those working within community and disability services. The course enables support workers to provide enhanced client centred support and care. To train and support clients in a manner that empowers them to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and wellbeing. 

The course covers a variety of skills response to behaviours, client care approach and management, care planning, conflict resolution and safe work practices. You will improve your knowledge and skills enabling you to plan and deliver individualised services and care plans for disabled clients with varying care needs.

Vative Healthcare Pre-requisites: Nil

Course Duration: 12 months (minimum of one day of training per month)

Mandatory Placement: 120 hours of professional work placement

Study mode: Work Place Based Delivery

Assessment: Assignments, projects and observation
