Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability)

This qualification has been designed for individuals in the community, home or residential care setting who work under supervision as a part of a multidisciplinary team. Students will gain in depth skills to follow an individualised plan and provide person-centred support to people who require support due to ageing, and or disability. Students will learn the fundamental skills of caring for the aged and disabled,to provide care based on the clients needs and preferences. Students will gain confidence to work in team environments, increase their communication skills and build an appreciated understanding for diversity.

  • Personal Care Support Worker
  • Disability Support Worker
  • Community Care Worker or Assistant
  Recognition: Nationally Recognised Training Mandatory Placement: 120 hours of professional work placement Study Mode: Workplace Based Delivery (online or face to face) Course Duration: 12 months (13 training days, plus Workplace Simulation and Observation/s days) Assessment: Assignments and Observations Payment Options:
  • Skills First funding available $8,550 for eligible students (criteria apply, please contact us for more details)
  • Fee for Service rate of $8550 for non funded students
